RBY - Where is the definition of the text printed by 0x50/0x59?

Hello! I'm new to the forum, but I have been lurking for some time as I've been working on a translation patch for the Spanish versions of RBY, so first of all I'd like to thank you all who manage and contribute to this extremely helpful repository of knowledge.

So, I'm nearing completion of Blue, and I was just wondering if changing the "Enemy X" prefix which appears during combat into a suffix could be easily done. I have located the offset of the "Enemy" string (0x1a70; English Version: 0x1a72), but there is no pointer to it that I can find. I fear this is as far as my knowledge goes, since I majored in linguistics :P

Could somebody point me in the right direction? The way in which these characters are defined is probably really complicated, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask!

That "Enemy" text string is referenced here.

Hi! Thank you for your answer!

I have come across this since I posted here. Because of it, I am now considering switching to the English pokered disassembly just so I can alter this order. I think otherwise it would be such a titanic effort to find where this reference might be with a hex tool. I definitely could not do it. I began to work using goldfinger directly on the Spanish rom I dumped from my personal cartridge just out of nostalgia, as some kind of pastime. But now that I decided I want to share it, it might not have been the wisest decision...

Thanks again, Danny!

P.S. I have played your gen II graphics hacks extensively, massive props :)

There's a Spanish disassembly, but not as cleaned-up as pokered, and was deleted from GitHub but backed up here: git.poke.blue/pokered-es/

Thanks! I just built both. I'll be putting them to good use :)
I had no idea someone had already disassembled the Spanish ROMs, that's awesome!
