Does adding new lv. 1 moves use free space?

Hi, I updated the level 1 moves for every Pokemon in Yellow Version. Now, nearly all Pokemon have four level 1 moves, but the Pokemon sprites have become garbled. I was under the impression that there was already space for each Pokemon to have four level 1 moves. Was I wrong?

Your assumption is correct, each Pokemon already has all 4 slots available for level 1 moves

If the sprites are loading incorrectly, you most likely have a de-sync issue, which could have been caused by accidentally having a Pokemon with 3 or 5 level 1 moves (or somehow otherwise accidentally changing the length of some Pokemon's base stats)

The best way to hunt down the problem is to determine the first Pokemon in Pokedex order that loads incorrectly, then look at that Pokemon's base stats, as well as the Pokemon that comes before it

If even Bulbasaur is messed up, then you have an unrelated problem that is causing the bugs

Thanks for your help. I identified the problem. I'm using your Gen. II graphics hack as a base, but I accidentally used the Pokemon base stat files from the regular disassembly.
