Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

Ok, that byte tells it which one of the pre-determined sprite pallets his overworld loads. If you edit one of those, it will edit every overworld that uses the same one. For example, if you edit the standard red pallet so that his sprite is purple instead of red, Everyone who used to be Red will be purple. Unlike Pokemon, there are only so many pallets overworlds can use. You have to keep this in mind.

As for editing the actual pallet itself, it is stored separately. I don't know the offset off the top of my head, but I'll look it up and post it in the useful offsets thread when I get the chance.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

It does. You have to tell it the offset manually though. You can find the offset in the "Useful locations" thread in the documents section.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

The colors of the back are yellw and blue. I read that it should be the colors of red and black. Is that true? Because I don't want to mess up the colors by inserting red and black.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

When inserting to a location manually, it won't matter what the colours are, just so long as you pick the lighter one as the first one and the darker one as the second one.

The download wasn't working for me, so tysonrss gave me his copy and I uploaded a mirror for MF. Enjoy.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

I was having a lot of issues running AGIXP in Windows 7, so I downloaded Active X Control Pad (you have to run the installer in compatibility mode for Windows 98) and I also set AGIXP to run in compatibility mode hingfor Windows 98. Now everything works fine. I hope this helps anyone else, I know there have been other replies to this to solve the problem, but (as for as I saw) none like this. Anyway, thanks again for the link Mateo!

Edit: It's stopped working now. I keep getting this: "Run-time error '32765': The common dialog function failed during initialization. This error often occurs when insufficient memory is available."

Anyone encounter this error before?

Edit: I have solved the issue. I ran a compatibility check on AGIXP and Windows recommended I set it to Windows XP (Service Pack 2) Ever since then it has been running beautifully.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

Just be careful, sometimes they do get attached during upload and download. If your AV is good though it will tell you as soon as you download (or you can just run a scan) and if there is something wrong, your AV will ask if you want to get rid of it.

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

I'm using XP x86, and every time i try to register FM20.DLL, it says "LoadLibrary("\windows\system32\FM20.DLL")failed - The specified module could not be found."

Any ideas here? This is not just related to trying to get AGIXP to work either, it's happened every time i've tried to register that file. Oddly, MSCOMCT2.OCX and COMDLG32.DLL have worked fine.

The error message I get when starting AGIXP is: "System Error &H8007007E (-2147024770). The specified module could not be found."
I'm guessing this the the FM20.DLL file not being registered properly.

When you right-click and click move, did you also press one of the arrow keys on the keyboard? Or did you just right-click and click move?

Re: AgiXP English, missing files included

Instead of moving the windows manually, you can also delete the following registry values:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Advanced Graphics Inserter\Settings\WinPosX
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\VB and VBA Program Settings\Advanced Graphics Inserter\Settings\WinPosY

Or you can export your favorite values and then simply double click the reg file when AgiXP went missing again.
