Normal Sprites
I was wondering if anyone knows of any GBC ROM hack where you can play as a normal looking sprite, like for example (a cooltrainer, a fat guy, a gentleman, or even a gym leader?) I would really like to know because I think there should be some ROM hacks like that, if there isn't any. If anyone knows of any, or any that are planned and in progress, please let me know. Cheers!

I don't really think there is any. However, if you just swap Red's sprites with another trainer's using the disassembly, that could probably give you what you're looking for.
Except for a backsprite.
