In the russian language the word red is written as красный, it's longer than original word. I tried to paste the symbols that don't fit instead of the word GREEN, but the game don't see them. pokered-fr uses redversion.png file and fully shows VERSION ROUGE. I tried to insert this file to gfx/red in original pokered and change the path in main.asm from gfx/red/redgreenversion.1bpp to gfx/red/redversion.1bpp, but the game still can't fully show the words VERSION ROUGE. How can I make game to show pixels after the word RED?
Thanks for help! But I has another question. I don't know why, but the game started cutting of the first letter in the Pokemon name. What file is in charge for printing Pokemon name?
Usually when that happens, that means you edited text/monster_names.asm and you accidentally made a Pokemon name shorter/longer than 10 characters.
The way that data is read by the game, each name entry must be exactly 10 characters, otherwise the names will not be accessed correctly.
