Pokemon Unknown History

Hack name: Unknown History

Hack of: Gold

Storyline:
Acourding to the stories 5 years ago the world was attacked by unknown people/creatures and most city's were destroyed.. Everyone had to obey the
unknowns. As for today we can only guess what happened, everyone who knew a even little about what happened 5 years ago dissapeared... but there's more:
stories say that the world was saved by a group of strong trainers (the elite 4) and that a new 'bad' team has shown up out of nowhere: the comet warriors.
the first one however , the group of trainers, have also disappeared.
now a seccond group of ''survivors'' is trying to help the people and they call themselfes PokeLeaks (from Wikileaks) these trainers are ''leaking'' information about the event 5 years ago in the hope someone can use it. but there comes another problem... because so many people got killed there are not enough young guys to find out what happened and to stop the new bad team.
this is where you come in, a fresh young boy born in Lostwood Town. It's your task to find out what happened 5 years ago and to save the world from evil teams. How? It's up to you!

all maps till the 3th gym got edited
over 40 trainers are edited
expanded some maps
all new exp gain ( makes the game more difficult)
new story
the wild pokemon encounters have all been redone
warphouses :) (makes u warp to places where you can't fly to)
at night wild pokemons will be stronger.
new map names

To place screenshots the best way is to use imageshack (its a free image host. Probably a good idea to sign up for free so you can keep up with the links for all your images). Then you just copy the direct link to your image, and paste it into the post with img tags around it.

edited this in a world map editor i found on the internet :p. i'll change the graphics sometime and i will make it look more advanced.
also this is zommed in, so the new map will be smaller (else i do not have enough of space).

Wew, it seems that he use Print screen to take the screen which cause the image are so big. Btw, each emulator have the ability to take the screen directly, afaik. You can just use that... :-/

Pkmngoldfan, in the joypad settings of VBA there is an option to select a key for screenshotting from within the emulator.

suggestions for the last two images? they are kinda big but when i make them smaller you can barely see a thing.

If you go into the 'Tools' menu there is an option for exporting map images as PNG.

your maps are detail-less , put little trees in corners, and the lostwood town it doesn't look like a town neither a village.
and make city's more routine space.

I'm guessing the ones in Lostwood town work like Petalburg Forest. You go straight into the woods without the use of a Route Gate in between. This way actually makes a bit more sense in some cases anyway. I don't know about you, but when I walk across the back yard and go into the woods, I don't have to walk through a gate house to get there lol

Beta 1 can be downloaded now :)

known bugs:
Intro pictures are still the same (oak, maril, oak, Hiro)
map corruptions: at the city of hope's gym, azalea town, route 08, route 02 and route 07
Missingno battle on route 03's berry tree.

oh yeah , you took my advice about the map ;)
i like the upstairs in the elm's lab, and it's lab from outside looks too small.
bug:if you talk to your rival looking down ,he will throw you down and walk into house.
bug: yet again another movement bug , choosing starter from up looking down makes you walk into computer.
bug: at the slowpoke well you can see buggy map. to the east.
bug: at the azalea town, you can see only the half of the house when leaving town.
bug: when you die at azalea , you appear on a person.
bug: when you defeat rockets at the slowpoke well, kurt the ball guy comes out of nowhere and goes into rocks. another movement bug.
bug: you can avoid the 2 girls at the gym! answer: just put sight range to 2 or 3 in johto map.
bug: rivals quilava has evolved too fast.
bug: rival walks into trees.
bug: Kurt guy is still down in slowpoke well.
maybe a bug maybe it is in the real game too , why the hell can a stupid spearow ''peck'' a gastly
what have you done to gastly? why can he be fire punched? punch a ghost? :(

thanks for noting the bugs you've found it's really helpfull!
the only problem is that i don't know how to fix most of them
like how to fix how the rival walks off when you battled him
and how to edit curt when you've beaten team rocket
and the buggy maps.. there are more of them :(
also when you die in the city of hope you appear in a pokemon center... i just don't know how to fix :(
and how to fix the old man that gives u the town map (this one walks his old routine lol)

I didn't know about the movement bug when you choose the starter thnx for that!

and yes i took your advice and putten a little more detail in it :D

I haven't done anything with gastly
the only pokemon wich i edited a little is kangaskhan (his base stats)

to fix the problem about moving , you just open the script in pksv (scipt editor) and there at the end there written step_down step_left and all of that just rename them to where you want him to walk.
another bug:you can see yourself in that long border passage.sprite change.
bug: the route where the pokemon freak guy house is , you can walk on the cave , but when you do , you can see the tree border.
and when continueing the game i see the same problem with galstly , a freakin kangaskan can bite a ghost??? if you haven't changed anything to him , you should. I don't know what and how but you must.


A HUGE BUG : i haven't even got to that town (olivine i think) i died walking down from that mountain , and then showed up on a pokecenter roof, and tried to walk to the town and got stuck.
that is another event bug , there must be the rival battle probably

as far as i know it's normal to bite, fire punch or peck a gastly in gold.
i think only normal and fight attacks doesn't work on a gastly,

and pksv sounds just so awesome :) thanks man

names of city's:
lostwood: newbark
hiddentown: violet
the city of hope: cherrygrove

ohh i got it
it's true the trigger that is most down of the two doesn't work.
i just don't get why you spawned in that city, that shouldn't happen
