No, it doesn't work with RBY. Even if I put the RBY pkms.asm instead of the GSC one, it doesn't work. But FroggestSpirit told me that he maybe will release a RBY one, MAYBE.

It's actually YES, using CMD.

Sorry, but I don't get that. You mean that I have to use CMD.exe to convert the MIDI's in a good way to RBY pkms?

No, you will use it to replace the every single byte.
Open midi2gsc>convert midi>open importer>import it on a rom file>open hex editor>go to offset where you put the music>copy all the bytes of music>open note pad>paste it there>save>run cmd>type in cmd this code ; edit "location of the file"/filename.txt (w/o quotation)>new window will appear>press alt+s+r>type in search what you want to search>type in replace with what byte you want it to be>just use the tutorial of melash music tut for the command of music byte for rby and gsc>after you changed all bytes that need to be converted save it>open the saved text>copy all>paste it over rby rom>done

Re: GB/C Hacking Videos (using Pokemon Silver for examples)

Oh, you mean simply just replace all GSC music format bytes with RBY ones? I already planned to take a song from GSC, and rewrite every byte in RBY format, for example the NEW BARK TOWN or ROUTE 29 music. But it should be useful if there was just a RBY version of gscImport, because I know the offsets of the RBY music much better than from GSC.
