Re: help about changing map position

Harrison made a great tool:GSC Town Map Editor

Btw, I hope that your town map is just an example for this thread. It's a devamp floating around which won't fit properly. (tileset and size)

Re: help about changing map position

Yeah, tekoR is right. That map won't work in the game, although there is nothing stopping you from re-drawing Hoenn so that half of it uses the Johto map and half of it uses the Kanto map. You'd have different radio stations in each half and would have to make sure that the wild pokemon data for routes was still listed in the correct half of the map for them to show up, but it would work.

Re: help about changing map position

Are you asking if the routes will match up with the map? If that's the case they still will follow the old map's routes and areas. But like tekcoR said you can use the G/S/C Town Map Editor for that, you just need to use mode two and set the cursor to where you want the route to be.

What the fuck? :S

Redux is 'on hold'. I have however found the files, but it's still (pretty much) dead at the moment.
I wonder if that's actually a good thing...

Re: help about changing map position

Dragonlordz is your first language English? Because mine isn't either and I find your posts are very incomprehensible.

I don't calculate stat values, I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones.

Re: help about changing map position

Between the incomprehensible posts and repeatedly posting things that are unrelated or in the wrong thread, I'm pretty sure English is not his first language. Unfortunately that makes it more difficult to explain things and answer questions when we know what they are.

Dragonlordz, if english is not your first language, which one is? Perhaps someone here is a speaker and could help you better in that language.
