I will try to read all comments. I will not make any comments on your comments, but the ones that I like, I may incorporate into my hack. It's a hack of Blue.

Some thing that you may want to comment on:
1. Should the be a release solely on a GB cart, or made available as an .ips patch?
2. Should I allow beta-testers, publicly?
3. Anything else. :)

It is a FamiTracker cover of the "Pocket Monsters Green - Lavender Town" music, with an ASM file, and a BIN file which is totally compatible with PKMN RBY. It's coverted to ASM and BIN with Sonic65's "rbyImport".

You should release it as ips,gathering someone if you NEED help (example,the scx value) and after hack is completed,make a topic for the ones who wish an actual cart of it.

ROMs are allowed here. The website itself hasn't a file service, so you have to upload them on an upload site. You should use MediaFire. An account is free (unless you want to use more than 50 GB). You can log in/create an account via Facebook or Twitter. You don't have to be afraid from paying money to MediaFire, 50 GB is just for free!

It works perfectly, but the Game Freak sound sounds different in Pokémon Green. Maybe, you can fix that in the next beta, by porting over the sound from Pokémon Green.

I would suggest inserting the Pokemon sprites that were used in the real Green. Yes, the majority of them suck, but at least it would be more authentic.

These were the '9tre\'94 sprites, I remember japanese people have different sprite preferences than our Amerikan\European preferences, the japanese sprites are more manga-like.

I am going to insert the sprites next, using stag019's tool.
I first need to figure out the bg map value found here the fix the value loaded when the pokemon start on the title screen: http://hax.iimarck.us/topic/3324/
I need the value to move the pokemon 4 tiles to the left, as suggested by Tauwasser. Mateos helped someone with the 'green version' thing. I hope if he read this, he will know where the map's pointer is that I am looking for.
Does anybody have Mateo's email or know how to reach him?

Okay. I will make a .jar for the next build. I am currently working on my next beta build (I am using stag019's Z80 routine to ease insertion of the sprites).
I am still trying to find the pointer to move the Pokemon on that bg map, as Tauwasser suggested.

The correct word may be sprites, sprite singular (Sprite, like the name of the drink!), sprites plural.
