Re: On a mobile phone? Want a .jar? Look here

I don't use MeBoy,but there are some games made by GraN of Peperonity, wich are ONLY for java mobiles. So,to play them on a PC i use KEmulator,an emulator that openes java apps/games.

It's explained THOUSANDSof times, but there is also a way of getting the ROM out of the JAR file. You just have to search forit, or ask it to the staff of Skeetendo. You have also better quality and more options, like the Super Game Boy mode, on VisualBoyAdvance or BGB.

Re: On a mobile phone? Want a .jar? Look here

OK, just because you are a kind person.
You just have to extract all files with the ROM header name. If you take Pokémon Red as example, it must be something like "POKEMON_RED". If you use HxD Hex Editor, you have to go to the option called something like File Compiler, and load all ROM name files in order of the numbers put after it. Then save the file you are going to output with the name you want to call it, and the extension .GB/.SGB/.GBC. If you did this correctly, you should be able to play the ROM. I am sure that that File Compile option is also included in the most other hex editors.

Re: On a mobile phone? Want a .jar? Look here

I need you help:
MeBoy F won't load 2MB Files like Pokemon Silver. How to fix it ?

ShareJAR won't convert the gbc file. I have a Nokia 2730c. I choose a ROM (Pokemon Crystal Complete),click upload,i also enter the code displayd in the small box and wait. After i waited for a while, the page reloads and i will be back at the choose file to upload page. Why my Nokia does not want to do that? Or ShareJAR has the problem. Please help.

So, somebody posted a cool hack that you want to try out. But the author only provided a .ips or a .gbc, and it doesn’t work on your phone! How can I find a .jar?

Here’s how: use ShareJar, an online service that embeds a ROM and MeBoy into a .jar.

Meboy-F v2.2.1 some phone not support...
if your phone can not run it, you can try edit version (ymhomer edit)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/vc50znb4hp5rf … v2.2.1.jar

What is the best hack rom, I think is Pokemon Dark Energy...
Thank Miksy91...;

change application access to set read attribute..  in java s40 phones you can set it by accessing options on a specific application

Re: On a mobile phone? Want a .jar? Look here

Meboy is a very badly made emulator, and it does not properly emulate gbc-only features. Even if someone made a .jar file of Polished Crystal, Christmas, XY Naturia, or other GBC hacks, the emulator would just crash when you tried to play them. This isn't something we are doing to our hacks to be mean, it is a case of you wanting to use an emulator that doesn't support the hacks you want to play. So you will need to use a different emulator, embedded meboy.jar versions will not work on those hacks.

Okay sir, But I played christmas and xy naturia on my phone, atleast someone make a .jar file for me. I've played polished crystal on meboy-f, it runs fine but i can't turn off the read and write permission that's why i want to embed it to meboy. Also, I want to play my rms saves using rmsbackuper to this hack. If I can, I will do it myself, but I have no pc. If someone can do a favor for me, you're a great help... Anyway, your pokemon christmas is one of the great gold hack ever, i still have an rms backup of that game, just in case. Lol. :)
