Re: Pokemon Prism

Long time follower, first time poster. I've been testing out this game for quite some time now (haven't tested out Brown yet, but planning on doing that over the weekend. :P )

And I've been wondering something.

Type matchups.

Were they ever explained?

Like, what is Wood, Gas, Abnormal, Sound, and Wind type pokemon weak to? And which ones got the type switch? I know gastly is part Gas, as is Torkoal. A lovely little list of what each pokemon is would be absolutely lovely. And what types are weak to / strong to them would be just as nice.

What I've found out so far is that Sound's weak to Normal, but strong against Water, Wind beats fire, but is weak to flying. Gas is also weak to wind. This is about as far as I got, unfortunately. :1 But I still love this hack!

I had a table around but I think I lost it.  I'll make another one later.  Thanks for enjoying the game!

Re: Pokemon Prism

Another minor problem is that Save files aren't permanent. I had to restart like, 3 times now, cuz the save states get corrupted. Oh well.

I kept my corrupted .sav, so I'll send you my file.
Also, do you want me to translate Prism to Spanish? It won't be hard for me to do it and this will help spanish-speaking people to enjoy this hack much more :P

Re: Pokemon Prism

Drawing up what I have discovered of Wood/Abnormal/Sound/Gas/Wind matchups.
Notice; this isn't a complete chart, but it's something you should probably know for when the game comes out.

I haven't discovered every pokemon of every type yet, but I know that the Jigglypuff Family is Sound type, Torkoal and the Gastly family are part Gas, and Ditto is either Abnormal or Sound, because he was weak to normal type moves, as is Porygon.

This is just a minimal chart, nothing special, nothing complete yet. I don't think it will be until Coolboy finalizes everything.

This will not have the added types attacking, just defending.

2nl5t1g.png

EDIT: I'll add more to the chart as i find out more things, maybe include the attack/defend thing? Make a huge chart including all 23 types.

Re: Pokemon Prism

Porygon and Ditto are of the Abnormal type.

You know the glitches that exist in the Pokémon games?
Only the ones named "MISSINGNO." are Missingno.
The others are not. They are their own glitches with their own names.
Sorry, it's a... thing that bugs me a little.

Re: Pokemon Prism

bit of an updated list.

http://i45.tinypic.com/2ijojsp.png

Apparently I can't put in any spoilers, so this'll just have to be just a link.

Again, please note. This is NOT a full list because I do not have a debug mode to test it on.

Moves used were Twig Slap, Gust, Smog and Sound Wave(name needed, not entirely sure if that is correct.).

Re: Pokemon Prism

I've played your hack before.

I like it. I don't get very far into this hack before quitting, but from what I've seen, I like it.

Though it does have its faults, this hack is very good. One of the best GSC romhacks I've ever seen. (And considering that there is not a lot of GSC romhacks, that's, to me, a nice statement.)

amvz08, that sprite sheet has reduced quality and the sprites are unusable. If you uploaded the sprites one at a time, it would be very helpful! :)
