Devamp/Custom Graphics Thread

I decided to start a thread where people may donate devamped or custom graphics, for less artistically inclined people to be able to use them in their hacks. Any graphics that you have drawn or devamped yourself are welcome to be posted here. These can be Pokemon, Overworlds, Map tiles, anything that you wish to contribute.

Also, to anyone using these, please take note of who originally created them so that you can credit them in your hack.





Now that that is out of the way, I'll get us started.

Thanks for linking to the other thread. While that one is more specifically about Sprites for Pokemon and Trainers, this one will be more for other types of devamps, to make your search more organized.

Using those tiles would be kinda awesome but how would you actually "insert" them in the game ?
I can really think of no other way but by going to the graphics data of the wanted tileset and try to write in something such as that.

Well you could just use Tile Layer Pro find some blank space then 'Tools'>'Import Bitmap' if the bitmap pallet is in the right order. Then just change the tileset pointer*

*It's been a few years since I hacked GSC but if I remember correctly there's a few bytes you are supposed to point to just before the tileset begins instead of pointing straight to the graphics, but I can remember what that was.

Devamp is to take an image from 3rd, 4th or 5th gen and colour it like it's from 2nd or 1st gen. :)


Redux is 'on hold'. I have however found the files, but it's still (pretty much) dead at the moment.
I wonder if that's actually a good thing...

Trainers are 56x56 pixels, back sprites for all are 48x48, and pokemon can be 40x40, 48x48, or 56x56

Would any of you mind if I used some of these for Prism later on?  I literally devamped 100 Pokemon pics over the course of 3 days before release because someone said they would do it, but never did.  So a lot of them aren't that good.  You'll get full credit of course.

Sorry for deleting all of my previous sprites. They have a bad shading and use too lots of dithering. So, i think that i'm not deserve to post mine.

Luckily, i have not deleted it yet. I appreciate that you love my arceus, thanks.  This is it

Btw, the Arceus is my first sprite. Back at that time, i still don't know much about spriting and it technique. That's why it have a clumsy outline and bad shading with no anti-aliasing effects. I really sorry for deleting that sprite. Thanks anyway.

The Arceus came out really well and the Lombre is neat as well.
