Re: All script codes for gbc

There is a sticky thread in the Gen II section called "Tauwasser's Scripting Compendium". There are also a few tutorials in there.

Obviously you didn't look for more than 2 minutes gave up and decided for us to hold your hand and do it for you (as you always do), or you are a horrible searcher.

I anticipate basic scripting questions from this guy without him trying for himself soon.

Re: All script codes for gbc

To virus95x

Let's just say I noticed this message at the beginning but didn't respond before Mateo did because I really didn't feel like helping to this sort of problem. Mateo and koolboyman have both good "ideals" here:
1) To help a beginner with his problem
2) Intending not to help because he/she wouldn't learn anyhow

I'm somewhere, between... I didn't respond you because I knew it would have been of no use. If you can't take time finding the scripting codes for G/S, it's quite obvious you also can't take time learning how to put them in use (which is the way more difficult thing here to be done). I found the compendium and started studying it (without understanding much) probably half a year before I started creating my first scripts. And I was at some level (capable of doing my own research with a hex editor) already back then.

What you should do is start with the basics (by wanting to learn them) and get to scripting when it's the time for it.

Ever since you've been here all you've done was ask questions that you could have easily figured out yourself if you actually tried.  Are you actually learning anything, or are you just following steps that other people are telling you without understanding the reasoning behind them? Why are you so surprised that I'm annoyed?

Also annoyed by you doesn't mean I don't like you.  I don't know you that well.  This is the internet, I don't hate anyone over the internet.

Re: All script codes for gbc

http://hax.iimarck.us/topic/1173/ Is this what you're looking for?
http://hax.iimarck.us/topic/9/
http://hax.iimarck.us/files/scriptingcodes_eng.htm
http://hax.iimarck.us/topic/382/ You will notice part 9 covers basic scripting

Now start reading. If you want to use this on Crystal just learn all you can and apply your new knowledge with Crystal
If there are any major differences between the versions let the community know and you will find yourself a contributing member of a collective knowledge base
Doesn't that sound better then being considered a noob who is wasting everyone's time and cluttering the forum with useless questions?
