Re: Adding new Attack GSC

Forgot this, and the next question: How to add new type of pokemon in pokemon GS?
ex: In pokemon prism, the koffing has gas type,
and the other; Bellsprout has wood type.
How to do that?

Re: Adding new Attack GSC

Thank's mate! It's very useful
One question:
Coolboyman wrotes:
0A-12 = Blank
13 = ???

On byte "0A-12 = Blank"
Can I add new type by editing those byte?
And what is byte "13 = ???" ?

Re: Adding new Attack GSC

The blank ones can be used to make new types. By default, they point to the same text as "NORMAL", but each name can be repointed individually, including the unused ones. Also, the ones following the Physical types will be treated as physical, and the ones following Special types will be treated as Special.

The "???" type is used by the move "CURSE".

It’s text. Just search for it.

Re: Adding new Attack GSC

Mateo already said it...

The blank ones can be used to make new types. By default, they point to the same text as "NORMAL".

On the other hand, do you think Koolboyman read somewhere where the type table is located in the game ?
No, he experimented and found it. And that's also what you should do (especially in situations that are already well-documented like this one).
