You need this assembler and a Pokémon Blue ROM as the base.

An assembler that supports big ROM sizes... That's what I probably need. But this assembler is for UNIX. I don't see any .exe.

Apparently you didn't scroll down to the bottom where it talks about installing it on Windows.
Installing RGBDS (Windows)
============================Windows builds are available here: http://anthony.bentley.name/rgbds/
Copy the .exe files to C:\Windows\ or similar.

Does the Assembler also support big ROMs (8MB)?

I have no idea, I've never fooled with disassembling and reassembling the rom myself. I use Jigglypuff's ASM editor or BGB's debugger when I mess with ASM code, and I've never recompiled Pokemon Wood to know (because it wasn't really intended to be a playable release).

I also will try Jigglypuff's ASM Editor. :)

Have you posted this hack in peperonity, because there is version of this hack where are only two towns and in these towns are some bugs.
I'm Not active at romhacking anymore. Just coming here randomly to check out for updates for Crhistmas hack and Dark Future.

I sthis hack still going on?
the asm routine and scripting work behind it was awesome for RBY, something special...
how about the implementation of RTC in RBY, I'm interested in it, but how to keep the previous palettes for each zone and make them became more dark\more clear (my table of plaettes will be repointed and expanded, I've expanded my rom as well so there are no problems of space).
I left this forum.

Aww... I've read the previous posts... I'm sorry you lost interest in hacking this...
Anyway I'm good as map builder (tile placements, events placements and so on), I'm good with graphical enchanges & sometimes I got good ideas for hacks.
Actually I'm not skilled in asm and assembling, but I could help in those simply (but boring) parts where you have to build a map, move the events, enchange the graphics, sometimes I write dialogues and I'm good as plot-maker.
I know these aren't very important changes, but if you or the other that are carring on this project need help I'll try give my best shot too.
I'm learning and I want continue learning, so here I am.
I left this forum.

@80C
I have made music for this hack. You can watch a video on my YouTube channel, YORAMRW.
It's an 8-bit demake of the Pokémon DPPt's Eterna City/Celestic Town Music. It's also available for download, to use in your RBY (or probably GSC) hack. You can download it from the link in my earlier post on this topic. But you have credit me in your hack, at least in a dialogue. FEEL FREE!
