Not sure if this is a right place to submit this "tutorial" or not but I think this will be quite handful for beginners but for better hackers as well and it can be found here pretty easily so that's the reason I made the topic here.
Anyway, I've got two specific folders related to Dark Future in my pc, "Documents" and "Edits". To keep everything organized, I often write down new stuff I learn about GSC in Documents section and when I do something myself to the hack that needs to be written down, I put it in Edits section.
Under Documents folder, I've got currently the following documents:
Camera scrolling Collision data Facing value Fleeing pokemon Flying data Give item -scripts Items (list) Map Bank switch Map Connections Moves (list) Pokemon (list) Pokemon data structure RAM (useful locations for handy tricks) Sounds (list) Sprite Change (some asm stuff) Trainers (list)
As you can see, most of these documents are very useful and it's way easier to track wanted data down when you know where you've it stored instead of for example coming to this site in search for it.
Under Edits folder, I have:
ASM Flags (all used flag numbers + the areas where they're used) Item Changes (each item that has been replaced with another) Keys, Orbs & Pages (special stuff related to Dark Future for making me remember how to acquire these) Moveset learning (where I've repointed evolution data of some pokemon) North Star (again, something related to Dark Future only) Spritesheets (which sprites have been used already and in which map banks) Story & Ideas (basically everything I get in my mind and would like to implement in the hack) Used trainers Wild pokemon (explaining which original areas (as Harrison's tool displays them) I've already used for wild pokemon)
Well, this is just the way I keep stuff related to the hack organized so make your own if you like to.
In case you haven't stored data like this before, it's time to do something about it!
Downloadlink for most of the stuff above which I felt like sharing: http://www.mediafire.com/?wdjkk6qfwqmvgq7
A lot of content has also been discovered by others so if you for some reason want me to take out some of the data provided in that zip-file, tell me about it and I shall do so.

Ahm,can you send me those? Please..can you bother emailing me those..my txt files is a bit out of place..wew
Why not? I'll upload a link to the text files of documents section when I've time to (and first when I've translated their info into english).
Thanks in advance!! You really help me a lot!! Anyway youre Nuzlocke is hard, but i do got a shiny cyndaquil, totodile and a wild ratata,is that a glitch or u've done it with ASM?
It took an eternity but I finally got the job done (which really didn't take more than 20 minutes really).
Some of the information might be useful even for experienced hackers around so take a look at what's in there.
Under Edits-folder, you can also find stuff related to Dark Future but reading them may help somebody else so feel free to take a look if you want.
Also, the way I "described" doing Give Item -scripts and HM Using is definitely not the way to go. Those were made before I understood assembly at all.
