Re: how to modify the MAX PP of some moves?

You find out where the bytes are in the ROM, then you hex edit them.

You can try to hide yourself in this world of pretend; when the paper's crumpled up, it can't be perfect again.

But I still don't know the location about this, I was finding the location with BGB, it's so complicated, did anyone do it before?

There is a tool for doing it somewhere in Toolbox in Pokecommunity.

Re: how to modify the MAX PP of some moves?

what do you mean of MAX? Is it,for example, when you use one PP UP on HYPER BEAM with 5PP it will increase the PP by 5[for example] instead of 1? Or when you learn HYPER BEAM it has 64PP instead of 5?

Trust me, I'm an Engineer

Could you tell me which tool can do it?
Thanks

The meaning is what PP has when learned the moves at the beginning without any items.
your meaning is at the back of sentences.

Move data consist of seven bytes per move, starting at offset 0x41AFE in Gold. They represent:

  1. Animation

  2. Effect

  3. Power

  4. Type

  5. Accuracy

  6. PP

  7. Not sure, looks like chance of side effect

See that's cool and all, and Imma letchu finish, but he never even specified what version he wanted this for. I've noticed this guy, and other people, tend to post vague questions all the time, but never seem to either post that they understood it, or even look like they're making a hack, or anything. This guy wouldn't even try to look for a tool himself. Not to mention the ROM maps on datacrystal. Plus, there's probably a tutorial for it somewhere.

But to answer your question, zhengwei, no, no one has ever done that before.
