Editing items

Now I know how to edit names and descriptions as I've done so for a "Oak's Parcel". But would I make a item act like a map? I know it would involve changing the item's hardcore data, but I don't know where to go to point a item to bring up the map function.

Re: Editing items

Yeah but the Pokegear in a "Blue" remake wouldn't be right. However I've decided that I'll take away the phone and radio functions and leave the map and clock in there.

Re: Editing items

Well Firered didn't use any "enhacned" function. Black and White still used town maps. P/Ppt/D did to.

But as I said I'll leave that intact. Just without the phone and radio since this would be a prequel to Silver/Gold the Pokegear for my hack would be a older version or "prototype".
