So I've added maps before with no problem, and even in this newest project I'm working on, I was able to successfully add 2 maps just fine. But when going in and adding another I'm getting an unknown symbol error for the dimensions. After messing around, I found that when I comment out the dimensions in the mapObjects file, I still get same error but its then pointing to the same named file in mapHeaders, but those are the only two locations that should have the name of the dimensions for the map. In my map_constants I've defined the x, y dimensions, and when opening the blk in Polished Map (3.5.3) it recognizes the dimensions just fine. Also its located in the appropriate places in map_header_banks and map_header_pointers. I'm pretty sure I've covered all bases on this, but I'm really confused about.
EDIT: Ok so I'm a dumb. It turns out that the issue was that I hadn't named the dimensions correctly. They were the same in all files but they didn't match the map's name in map_constants, which is why the blk opened fine, but it couldn't compile. This must be an update in either the pokered disassembly or in 3.8 of rgbds that I wasn't aware of when I began the project.
