The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

So after months (and some years of prep work) here it is. Merry Christmas guys and gals!

The aim of this resource is to have all the graphics needed to make any region. One day the aim is to also get music and tilesets added for each region. It's been a long time coming. Sinnoh should hopefully be finished by the middle of January, Kalos' Pokemon will be very quick work thanks to WaH and Kuroko, though I will be changing a few of the backsprites and possibly a few of the fronts, trainers however will take a while longer as many of the characters for B2/W2 have no sprites ready yet. Unova also has a lot of the sprites ready for it so after Sinnoh is complete expect quick work!

Another thing I'd like to eventually add is Menu and Overworld sprites for all Pokemon and for any trainers that require unique overworld sprites (such as Gym Leaders and playable characters) but at the moment that isn't high on my priority list. I hope the community can get a lot of use out this.

I'll update this post later with trainer sprites and a full list of credits.

The saddest thing is there's no such thing as an ex addict. Either you're fighting addiction or you're not and if you start fighting you never stop. That's the nature of the monster.

Awesome work! For Kalos the Honedge line and the Bunnelby line need a lot of help, the sprites for the evolutions aside from Aegislash are atrocious. I assume you have my sprite collection, Unova should be piss easy.

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

The largest piece of work at the moment is forms and formes as even the most complete resources are missing those. Johto has been the easiest by far. I have your Kalos and Alola sets, is there anything else I'm missing that would make the job easier?

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

Seems you have everything I own. If you make a list I can give a crack at my google search skills and we can go from there.

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

This is most of what I have for Unova as you can see a lot of it is Gen I colouring or Gen III size so anything for that would be great. Not too fussed about backsprites as I've gotten pretty good at making those. I'll compile a list of trainers and the like that's missing soon so people can submit there own. Also I don't know if there is any sort of badge system in S/M but if there is that's something else I need as well as a town map for Alola and a better one for Kalos.

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

Yeah those are by COMBOY (pokekoks at the time)

https://www.dropbox.com/s/v0p8iy556ggji … 6.rar?dl=0

This is every pokemon sprite I own (as of the 22nd, next update will be when I have a bit more gen 7)

Under the COMBOY folder is a copy of the pokemon sprites from his GS Essentials kit for RPG Maker. It's every Pokemon, formes included up to BW.

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

Thanks! I already have one GS Essentails kit with forms so a second one is an even better help. It seems COMBOY's has the same problem as the other one I have of having a lot of poor sprites but it gives me more options and more references. It was nice to see my work in there too! But you should rename the folder to Bloodless & Blue Emerald as a large majority of the front sprites are his.

It's a bit of a mess so it's generalized, but you do have your own folder as does Blue Emerald. I'll eventually write up a readme to explain but the goal as is, is simply to have a sprite for everything.

Re: The Bloodless Gen II Graphics Resource

Similar goals then but mine is to have the most accurate sprites possible plus the other improtant graphics (another thing I'm working on is SGB borders for every game of every region) not to just have them, between us we may end up with a great resource!

Speaking of every game, my aim if/when I get round to my OI games is to have two or three versions like with every other generation, I'm considering using yours as a base if that's okay (I was originally thinking of porting the few bits of useable content from Orange Island Adventures and going from there but yours is looking much more promising than that old piece of beautiful rubbish). I'd love to discuss ideas with you if you have a facebook or something we can have a private chat on? My email is linked to my account if you would like to chat.

If you want to add some of these back sprites or maybe a front sprite to your Sinnoh collection, I don't mind
I just didn't know if you were keeping track of different peoples GSC devamps including your own or if you were responsible for every sprite in the OP.
If the latter, I'd understand why you wouldn't add mine since you are probably saving the spots for your own works

Speaking of which, would just like to ask if I could use some of the sprites here for my hack?
