SatoMew, you must be confused. kkj1116 is only pointing out that this was claimed to be like a Yellow mock up, however the palettes that are shown for the sprites resemble the SGB palettes from Red and Blue. As opposed to the SGB palettes used in Yellow. And that is very true. He knows Yellow was only a SGB game, but it is sill true that Yellow used different SGB palettes than Red and Blue.
But folaip already said he intentionally wants to use the RB palettes instead of the palettes from Yellow, even though it is overall a Yellow mock up. So I don't know what you're point in trying to correct him was. Especially when you had nothing to correct him on.
And I definitely don't understand what point the link you provided were supposed to prove. They show the GB, black and white sprites, and then they show the sprites when played with SGB features enabled. What are you trying to prove with that?

You're wrong. Not counting the Japanese version, Yellow is both simultaneously a Gameboy Color and Super Gameboy game. Unlike Gold/Silver, however, the Super Gameboy and Gameboy Color palettes used are actually different. They're almost the same except the Gameboy Color palette is brighter.

So, foliap...can you make it for me?

First, I want to apologize for perhaps dragging this out too long and tacking this thread off track.
Second, I may be a bit confused. I accept that I actually don't understand what I'm talking about and I should be more prepared before I speak. For that, I apologize.
So, what makes Yellow a CGB game, instead of a "GB game with SGB features" just like Red and Blue? What functionality does it have like Gen II that RB doesn't have? The brighter palettes that Yellow has are just as easily put into Red and Blue...
Lastly, and most importantly, reading over kkj1116's post, he still never said anything incorrect. He only ever said that foliap said it was a Yellow mock up, but kkj1116 pointed out it was using the palettes from RB. Then foliap clarified that it was actually more of a RB mock up anyway. So really, this whole conversation is pointless. And if kkj1116 never said anything false, then SatoMew's correction is still just as unnecessary, even if my correction of him failed.
And since I still have never publicly said this: This hack sounds great! I really look forward to playing it sometime!

@Danny-E 33 @stag019 @kkj1116, my bad, I interpreted his post wrongly. But what I said still should be taken in consideration so that things are done properly.
— Japanese Red/Green = Game Boy titles, enhanced for the Super Game Boy
— Japanese Blue = Game Boy title, enhanced for the Super Game Boy
— international Red/Blue = Game Boy titles, enhanced for the Super Game Boy
— Japanese Yellow = Game Boy title, enhanced for the Super Game Boy
— international Yellow = Game Boy title, enhanced for the Super Game Boy and Game Boy Color
— most releases of Gold/Silver = Game Boy titles, enhanced for the Super Game Boy and Game Boy Color
— all releases of Crystal = Game Boy Color title
— Korean Gold/Silver = Game Boy Color title
The pics I posted before are of the Pokémon front sprites from Red/Green, Blue, and Yellow, showing all palettes for them (Game Boy and Super Game Boy palettes applies to all of them, Game Boy Color palette only applies to non-Japanese Yellow).

In most cases, the creator of the hack will post whenever he or she has an update or an announcement about their hack. People also tend to not like it when people constantly ask for updates about their hack.
Exhibit A:
I added two lines for the FAQ in first post.
Miksy91 wrote:Q: When will the next version be released?
A: I don't know.Q: Should I contact you through e-mail if I have something to be said about this hack?
A: No. The e-mail I've got associated with this site is something that I also use for non-hacking stuff daily. If the thing doesn't have to be "private", keep it here in the thread.I'd appreciate it if you didn't e-mail me about things related to this hack, especially if they don't contribute anything at all (which has happened more than a dozen times already). Also, not pointing to anyone specifically, many have done this actually.
Thank you :)
Also, if the hacker does not respond to one of these "requesting update" posts or just hasn't posted anything anywhere on Skeetendo recently, it's highly likely that the hack has died (This is not always true but it usually is).
