[Gold] Mart Editing

I was using Swamperts great GSC mart editor tool, however, I found that it will not edit the 5th floor TM selling NPC. It will not work on a clean version of the game either.

I was looking into the script and found that it opens up a mart menu? The items, I presume, are located in this menu. I can't seem to find where the menu is.

Hi,
The data of the marts is found in rom bank 5: http://datacrystal.romhacking.net/wiki/ … _05_014000

What the script does is simply telling the game, which entry to use for the buyable items. That "entry number" is basically the index of the pointer under "162FE-16341 Pointers to Mart Data".

You're help almost 2 years ago is the reason I'm still messing around with ROM hacks at all ha.

I had that exact link bookmarked but accidentally glanced over the mart data section, I managed to fix the store in all of 5 min so much appreciated!

If you have time I have loads of questions again
