I've been working on some sprite devamps for my project. My goal was to emulate the art style as close to possible (in regards to shading) while having some of the more "wonky" GSC sprites to look nicer. Also for type balance purposes I added Mawile and Cryogonal.

Still have the animations to do, but I think so far they're coming out well.

Mamoswine Backsprite, I'm not sure which looks best, One Giant Tusk with the other being out of frame (like Charizard and Dragonite's other wing) or with the tusks barely viable at all, or completely gone.

I personally like the first one.

If anyone wants to make a Gen 2 game set in Sinnoh, I laid it out to fit in one Town Map, leaving the second region for other uses:

Wow, it's neat seeing all the regions laid out like that. Go ahead and use my Sinnoh map.

Your Kalos map is crowded, but it looks like there are too many cities to give them all enough space in a single screen.

I know what you mean about Kalos, definitely very crowded but I really wanted each region to take up only one map, I think the issue was in trying to fit the mountainous range, if I moved that into the surrounding maps I could expand the island to make it more spacious. I did this about a year and half ago I may go back and redo Kalos (and finish up the maps that have no markers on them) when I finish the backsprites for Hoenn (just 38 to go!).

I would just expand the land mass of Kalos to give your routes and towns more breathing room. Other than that they all look great.

Orange Islands, includes everything except for Cinnibar, Seafoam and New Island (going by anime canon)

Too lazy to change the kanto text, yes I know its crowded and has no roads, I feel like the map would work more as a reference than as a road map, a good orange islands hack would be more of an exploration game.
