GSC Ultimate Trainer Editor

As I said, I plan to develop certain tools, and here it is one tool that will help you guys edit trainer data in GSC. Feel free to report any bugs on this tool and also, I still haven't tested all kinds of adding and removing pokemon, so please post your feedbacks if any error happened while you are playing and I'll look into that. Here is my so proud tool, the trainer editor named Ultimate!

Asusual, sceptile30 is the password for every tool I developed. And here's the link for .NET Framework: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download … x?id=24872

Please please, give me feedbacks and comments, and also if you want another feature to be in this tool, please post your replies thanks! :)

Re: GSC Ultimate Trainer Editor

Yeah, it would actually be much better if you made one thread for all of your tools and update it every once in a while when you've got another tool to be released.

P.S
Why do you keep stating your editor so much better than that of Gamer2020's (in the Read me) ? Surely it has many nice features and is a good tool for beginning hackers who don't understand that much about hex editing or how to do things better themselves. I didn't get Gamer's tool to run for some odd reason, because it has worked before when I've tried to (months ago), but I believe it does support repointed trainer datas unlike this one (yet I've to say that I'm not using it either because it's quite difficult to program a tool that would support changing the length of the trainer's name, type and pokemon data in a way you wanted to).

Re: GSC Ultimate Trainer Editor

As a programmer, since you're making to make some things more easier, why not make it like that PLUS make it promising? I'm just proud of my work (well you can't blame me, I'm not used to giving off programs for free) and I really find a hard time using the tool of Gamer. I'm sorry if I said something bad in the read me. I've already uploaded it. Sorry again.

Anyway, I'm not really planning on studying how to support repointed data since I'm not making hacks myself, if it is not supported would I? And I don't wanna spend more time on some program that I'm giving away for free. I just want to make tools that will benefit me and then share it with others since it isn't a big program like I'm used to working on.

The primary reason why I've decided to develop GSC tools is nothing more than because I am playing it. I've developed these tools because I want to experience things that I've not yet experienced (e.g. having an Alakazam, Machamp, etc etc.) because I've finished Silver so many times already (take note, I'm using my mobile phone in playing that's why cheating never came to me until after I found these rom hacking sites and forums) without having done that. I know you all share my feeling of 'wanna catch'em all!' and all that. And I just know that it will make be satisfied if I've really 'completed' the game (that's why I'm not yet moving on to making tools for gba and ds).

Anyway, you can use my tools first and then do the repointing because I'll never change my mind on ever supporting it, unless you tell me how it is done for every tool I already made haha.

As for making a thread for my tools, I'm not really familiar with that. How do you specifically do it here in skeetendo? I'm sorry if that's a really newbie question, and please reply a step by step procedure on how am I be able to do that thanks!

But for starters, here's the list of tools that I've already made, everything in GSC:
-Evolution editor
-Moveset editor
-TM-HM editor
-Ultimate trainer editor

And for tools I will make soon, there's only 1 thing in my mind as of yet: GSC Attack Editor. Maybe if I finish this tool, I'll not be so much active anymore since I'll take time and focus on my thesis (still programming!). And if I come back, I'll study hacking gba and ds, but of course, that's with the help of these forums and guys like you!

Not that it's a bad thing.

I don't remember seeing it, so can I get a list of tools you've made/will make?

As for this, I just can't keep myself from finishing what I started to program, I just love programming so much, that's that! :)

I apologize again for bad things that I've said. Have a blessed sunday everyone! :)

Handling pointers isn't that difficult really and I believe it would be easy to adjust the coding of the tool a little bit to look for the offsets of trainers through a pointer table instead of original offsets like they're now. A pointer table to the [Trainer group]s starts at 0x3993E (in Silver and possibly Gold). Here you can find a tutorial about pointers I've written: http://hax.iimarck.us/topic/1627/
There may be better ones elsewhere so just search for a GB pointer tutorial of your desire.

I simply meant that you'd do a thread just like this one but instead of one, include downloadlinks to all of your tools in there.

Re: GSC Ultimate Trainer Editor

So what's this I'm reading about you down talking me and my editor? You do realize that I made that editor years ago and I was actually really drunk when I did so. I actually added ini support to my editor so people can add offsets for re-pointed trainer data and it took me 3 minutes. Show respect to your elders and watch your mouth.

Re: GSC Ultimate Trainer Editor

may be a little too ultimate... isn't there a way that you can make it so you can only add one Pokemon at a time, instead of taking up the rest of the space?
