Pokemon Zap Artic Molten?

So recently I've been searching through Pokecommunity forums in a spur of boredom and I stumbled upon a thread by Iron Nidow about Pokemon Zap Artic Molten.

It was a Red Hack, and to my surprise most of the posts were positive (as i have come to expect tool-only mediocre hacks) so I decided to download the hack. Then came another pleasant surprise : there were 3 versions to choose from, each with its own exclusive mascot and version exclusive Pokemon. I rather like Zapdos, so I downloaded Zap Version. It was wonderful. Great sprites, starters, and map edits. It felt like Pokemon Brown all over again in completely new way and I couldn't wait for the final release.

That is, until I saw the date of the posts. It was from about a year ago and not much had been said since then, so I was extremely disappointed. It was a great hack and I'm wondering if we could all put our knowledge of hacking together to complete the three versions, or if Iron Nidow could finish it, if he reads this.

Thanks,
Dooshboi

I don't calculate stat values, I don't breed my way to perfection, and I don't care about natures. I catch my Pokemon the way they are, and treat them like individuals instead of brainless drones.

Re: Pokemon Zap Artic Molten?

Apparently the team disapparated. I would continue it if I hadn't had to juggle so many projects at once.

Oh I see. Well if anyone else if familiar with R/B/Y Hacking they should finish it. I mean it's a great hack.

Re: Pokemon Zap Artic Molten?

I would be more than willing to be a part of a team to complete Zap/Arctic/Molten. But, I think such a team would require two things, firstly, and most obviously, volunteers to join the team, at least one person taking care of scripting/mapping/etc., but secondly the team would require the blessing of the original creators of the hack. If anyone is actually interested in completing the project, contact me, we can see what we can do.

What hacking skills do you possess? Plus, the game had a lot more done to it since the beta release yet they never released it.
