So what's your favorite Hex Editor? Sure, they may be similar, but does one have a GUI that appeals to you more, or perhaps more options to use? Feel free to post a link to your favorite hex editor too :p
Personally I like Translhextion. It's simple, pretty, and compatible with my shizzles. Not to mention the creator Januschan likes Castlevania xD link here: http://www.romhacking.net/utilities/219/

I tend to use GoldFinger the most. It's one of the first ones I tried out, and it works for most things. Translhextion is another good one. I tend to use it when I'm copying larger amounts of data (such as expanding a tileset and copying the old block data to the new location) and I like its feature to paste data multiple times with a single click.
I am not very active on this forum. I only pop in from time to time.

Not sure whether I could say GoldFinger is my favorite hex editor because I haven't used any other hex editors, "ever". This statement is actually false because I do have Translhextion in my computer and I used it to do some researching way back then but really, I haven't opened any other hex editors but GoldFinger in more than a year or so.
The reason I started using it was probably Mateo saying he likes to use GoldFinger himself and I was a newbie back then. I started with GoldFinger and since then, I've have had no reason to move on into using any other hex editor because it can do everything I want it to be capable of.

HexWorkshop. Is the best editor. I use them and I allways have good effect. It was very easy to use and have a lot languages to select.

Usually I prefer Translhextion!
I've used HexWorkshop too. But I'm not sure, exactly which one (Hex Editor) is easy to use.
Let's see,
I tend to use GoldFinger the most.

So, probably GoldFinger could be better. haha!

I use HxD. It has an option to make a file of multiple files. It has also the Ctrl + B option to replace data with copied data, and many other functional things.

A Thingy table is a text file that tells the hex editor what byte represents what letter.

Oh, if I can edit what a hex editor displays at the text editor, instead of hex bytes, I could make a program which displays music commands instead op bytes.
