Custom Stats in G/S/C?

Hey I was wondering if it's possible to have certain trainers with custom stats? Like over the 714 limit (Blissey's HP Stat)

For instance: One of the Champions Pokemon having 750 HP, 700 ATK, 450 DEF, 600 SP.ATK, 700 SP.DEF, 400 SPEED

It would completely ignore the Base stats. I have a feeling this would require ASM. (That's what they told me on the 3rd Gen, but I would like to do this to the 2nd Gen)

I ask this because I used a save state editor to give my team these types of stats, so I would hope it's (somewhat) easy to accomplish with trainers PKMN.

If this is possible, could someone point me to a tutorial for this? Thanks!

Yes, it would "require asm" but the hack would actually be kinda "stupid" since every time a pokemon would be loaded into the field, you'd have to check if the encountered trainer is the Champion or not. Not very practical check but yeah...

Well, no… I bet a more practical way would be to add a new trainer type, like the ones that allow changing moves or held items. This check would be done at the start of battle, not every time the Pokémon is switched out.
