Re: Pokémon Golden

You probably learn from it already but it's wise to keep up backups in other "hard drives" as well. I personally have around 500 versions of my own hack in two PCs and some latest ones in a memory stick. Also keeping an account in mediafire or similar and uploading some there (by keeping them Private) isn't a bad idea either.

Re: Pokémon Golden

You just reminded me to go backup Bronze right now. I hadn't made one in a while.

Maybe ^this video will help you recover it!

What if people were slaves to Pokemon?
What if Pokemon were blood-thirsty warmongers that demanded trainers catch allies and train them to keep Humans oppressed?
These are the questions I battle with every day.

Re: Pokémon Golden

I have never seen any GSC base hack as like you've done'd with this.. Especialy the way you have edited tiles and that text box's borders in it. Lookin' Forward to its improvement!

P.S. I'm confused on your hack's base. Be'cause in sign you've wrote Crystal base and in thread its Gold hack..

Re: Pokémon Golden

Sorry, for some reason I didn't see your post until now.  Thanks for the comment - it's always good to hear something positive.

Yeah, my signature did say that the base was Crystal, and that is correct, I just never got around to actually updating the first post with the new information.  I just updated the first post to reflect the change from a Gold ROM to FroggestSpirit's Crystal Complete for the base, so now all confusion should be cleared up.

Re: Pokémon Golden

too bad the original ROM was lost accidentally... the good fact is that you have some of the previous material.
It happened to me too with a great PC hacked game.

Ok, I hope you complete it, because this hack seem cool.

PS: What about call the very final release "Pokemon Golden" and add a subtitle: "The Resurrection"?
The subtitle would give to the ROM a special feeling, because it seem that the new version is "reborn".
