Okay I happen to have this custom sprite of Leaf that is made to show he based around Gen V, only problem is I need it to be 64x64 for FireRed standards and there isn't another sprite out there of Leaf that is around the size, aside from the default on in FR/LG XD So anyone capable of making a clean 64x64 version of this same sprite? It is 80x80 so it shouldn't be that hard to do for someone is capable of doing this, by that I mean for someone whose been doing spiriting for a good while now.
Was made by Flamejow of deviantArt btw. XD
I'm back in the USSR, boy you don't know how lucky you are.
Pokemon Blue DX is reborn!
It's really not
But Sprites for Pokemon GBA games, have to be exactly 64x64. I mean I know I can resize it down but then there is cleaning the sprite up, that part throws me off though cuz even if I was to use the bigger sprite as a reference to the smaller sprite, I still get thrown off on what lines and pixels need to be changed so it look clean and identical to the larger sprite.
What I would do is devamp it first, then resize it.
I just thought of this thing, since 64 and 80's ratio is 4:5, you can resize 80 to 320px(80*4) first then resize it down to 64px(320/5) so it will be a clean image, or at least it will. But take note, I haven't tried it so be the one to test it first, the idea just popped out of my mind. I'll wait for the result and I'm hoping it will succeed.
(It beats me where the idea came from.)

Okay I tried your idea and I think it worked, kinda? I mean I had to fix a few lines so it would look some what similar, though kinda looks like crap but here is how the sprites are really suppose to look
Here on the left is Red, which is likely taken from Gen IV or V. Both those games, their sprites are at 80x80. Red's Sprite here, has been resized to 64x64 to fit into the GBA format of sprites. As you can see, it looks nearly as identical to how the actual sprite looks in the DS games. Right is the Leaf sprite I had to resize to 320px then back down to 64x64. As you can compare the actual sprite of Leaf with Red, they look the same in size of the sprite.
Basically I need to get Leaf to resemble Red's Sprite which you can tell by how big the sprite is inside the 64x64 box

Wow! It worked somehow! And yeah, it needs to be fixed first. But at least it doesn't screw up totally, isn't it? Uhm, maybe you may want to use 640px(320*2 and so on) instead so the ratio would be 1:10(64:640) which is more proportionate I guess. Thanks for trying and I didn't expected that the result would be like that:)
(But I dunno if my post is making sense or what?)

XD Well know I didn't make the Red Sprite, I got it off of a DS Trainer 64x64 Sprite Resource thread off of Pokecommunity, which the thread itself is now closed due to inactivity for almost months and months. The Leaf sprite however, yeah I did that, and really it does look crappy. XD
