Some others from newer generations:
Hex Maniacs had no pupils in Japanese RSE (IIRC)
Registeel was changed in German version because its arm position looked like a Nazi salute
FireRed and LeafGreen changed a lot of terms from Red/Blue: Gambler → Gamer, soul → all, fight → battle, evil → malevolent (seriously!)…
The Game Corner was removed from the EU Diamond and Pearl, and from all versions of Platinum
woww, niceee, never noticed that so many changes took place :)

Also in HG/SS. The japanese versions had the normal game corners.
I knew most of the censorship but I never really noticed the graphical changes. You could mention that Sunkerns colors was changed in Crystal based on the official artwork.
Personally I think censorship will always be part of the Pokémon series. For example, in the German versions of RBY, references to real life weren't included. "Guyana, South America" were translated with "Dschungel tief im Niemandsland" ("Jungle, deep in no man's land") and even the Tiksi-branch is located in "no man's land". :)

Yeah, that's true about HG/SS, I'm glad I have the Japanese along with the English version. I was annoyed that Voltorb Flip was the ONLY way to get coins. Really, no buying them?
Due to all this bullshit Game Corner censorship Black and White doesn't EVEN have a Game Corner, at all.
I'm not sure if it counts as censorship; but, the tiles of Red/Blue are more detailed on the foreign releases than the original Japanese Red/Green.

Oh, really? I've been looking for all the differences between Green version and English Red/Blue but didn't realize the Japanese Red had the same tiles.

Japanese Red and Green are almost identical. Japanese Blue is what English Red and Blue were based on.
i never noticed these changes o.o

Actually, the Game Corner is present in all versions of Diamond and Pearl, it was removed from EU Platinum, and it was removed from all non-Japanese HG/SS.

And that's because Pokemon's foreign debut (Red/Blue) was based on the Japanese Blue version, which is the true "third version" of Generation I (akin to Crystal, Emerald, and Platinum), not Yellow. The Japanese Blue version also has the more detailed tiles, as it was one of the original upgrades from Japanese Red/Green.
Also it's interesting to note that G/S/C Kanto did not use the Japanese Blue/international Red&Blue tiles, but rather colored versions of the original Red/Green tiles.
Also some HG/SS censorship:
*male swimmers had speedoes changes to shorts (the same thing also happened with D/P/Pt)
*the Sage sprites had their beads removed in the Korean HG/SS, and red things were added to their robes
