I made New Bark Town to be 13x13 and made changes to the map, but it doesn't turn out like I expected. (if I use MegaMap there are a LOT of cases where it will go "Subscript out of range".) instead the beginning of Route 29 is set right next to a house where the door should be, and part of the sea from... Route 27 is a little further away from it, where a person is. I can't get any further, what do I do?
also, if I change the X alignments or y alignments, the buggy parts will stay in the same position regardless.

what should show up.

what shows up in the game when it shouldn't.
(I won't use MegaMap to edit the map, it's too buggy.)

Yeah., I got an error like that!
It cause you resize the map with Megamap, and its buggy :(
Goldmap is the best choice!!
It didn't make an error, even resizing the map.,

Back when I was slightly younger I tried Goldmap. It opened files just fine, it just never saved anything even when I tried to.
Was so long ago now though that I can't remember exactly what happened.
You know the glitches that exist in the Pokémon games?
Only the ones named "MISSINGNO." are Missingno.
The others are not. They are their own glitches with their own names.
Sorry, it's a... thing that bugs me a little.

Your "error" there is the fact that the original connection data has to be modified to match with the expanded map data of New Bark Town.

The reason for this is that you haven't resized a map having map connections with GoldMap. GoldMap is no way better, it can't automatically calculate map connection data (or edit it at all I think). Correct me if I'm wrong here, I don't use GoldMap myself.

You are correct, Goldmap doesn't modify the connection data at all. It does automatically repoint the map for you though if you expand it beyond the original map size, but it doesn't let you choose the location manually. It just sticks the map data in the first available free space, so it often puts it in an inconvenient bank.
I am not very active on this forum. I only pop in from time to time.

I was using JohtoMap... and if that connection data is the weird hexadecimal codes in the last three boxes of the connection box, I don't know how to edit it to make everything proper.
okay, using some knowledge about map connection editing I just learned, I tried to edit those boxes. however, no matter what number it is, the map is still in the same buggy state. :/

Map connection editing is complex. I still haven't gotten the hang of it either, although I understand it mostly.

okay, I JUST can't solve this. I did set Route 29 to connect to where it should be, but the map itself JUST won't show regardless of where I set the window. I'm lost, helpp ;n;
