You need to use lowercase in the BB code.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

Thank you for telling me.
I just noticed that I had the offsets wrong for the saving.
I fixed it but I won't release it yet cause I have yet to update the name loading.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

Darn now I feel like I'd have to make a G/S hack instead :|

Well, anyway good job you finished it  ☺

When does new pokemon editor come?

EDIT:
There is a problem.
When I try to load any of these 3 roms the program keeps loading A LOT of time for the data and if I click anywhere then it seems the program isn't responding.

It also works for crystal.

There isn't anything wrong with it. You just have to be patient and let it load. It reads EVERY byte so that the stuff displayed is as accurate as possible.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

It has to be slow because stuff needs to load and it needs to read the data properly and to do so means byte by byte.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

Give us back our GSC tools, I really need those GSC tools cause hex editing confuses me, I do not hack the GBA games because they are way too overhacked, really, every single hack you see on the Pokecommunity, with the exception of Prism, is of friggin FireRed, so don't go and say that GBA hacking is superior, 8 BIT POKEMON FOR THE WIN!!!!!!!!!

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

Hex editing isn't really that hard to learn. I plan on making Fire Red hacks. yeah that's right I'm making more than one. I prefer newer games too. Anyways, I won't be needing these "tools" for when I make a Red/Gold/Crystal ROM Hack, instead I'll use hex editing.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

No, it's just that, well, most hackers expect everyone to automatically know hex editing,  they expect them to be Stephen Hawking and know hex editing just suddenly, I use the (few) available tools for GSC because I know nothing of hex editing, NOTHING!

Oh wait, it's PC and advanced generation! Uhm... take this, 1337 Metal hacker!

Seriously, you learn Hex-Editing when you do it. Just take some tutorials and practice it regardless of which and what games you're hacking.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

Oh wow dude...
It says "Multi-Platform".

If you can't follow that to learn how to hex edit then you shouldn't be ROM hacking. ESPECIALLY GSC hacking.

Stop posting everywhere for me to put the tools back cause I'm not going to do it. I see how F-ed up GBA hacking is cause of thousands of n00bs using tools all over the place. GSC is respectable because there are no tools and knowledge about the games is scarce (Maybe not the right word.)  I took down the tools because having them up would mean supporting something I'm against. Just deal with it. No one else is crying about it.

Re: Team Snag'em Tools!

I CAN'T, You have no idea what I am going through, already, I have be cluttered up by school so much, I can't even think about hacking without my mom telling me to study anymore, I REFUSE to hack FireRed, or any third gen game (besides, I never really liked FR/LG anyways, the fact that 95% of all Pokemon hacks are of FireRed is just torture to me) and hex editing confuses me to hell and back, I can't understand it without going berserk cause it is TOO MUCH FOR ME RIGHT NOW, If I were to hack gen 3, it would be Ruby, which is just as underhacked as G/S/C due to FireReds existence looming over the fanbase

Please help me learn hex editng before I go mad!
