I think Warcraft is the main thing and DotA is an expansion or a mod or something. It would be like saying "I don't play Black and White versions, but I play Pokemon" or something. But I may be wrong, I never got into Warcraft.

I think it would be better if he had said "It's sad that some people who play DotA don't know that its a mod of Warcraft". As it is, I'm sure there are tons of people who have never even heard of DotA, let alone know that its a mod of anything, and that's not sad, it just means they aren't into it.

EDIT: But I think we're getting off topic, since the thread was originally asking players to post their stats or something, and instead its a lot of non-players talking about how we don't play and people don't know what it is, lol.

by the way,i think, warcraft is the name of the game itself, but the dota is the name of the map that could been played,like any other default maps of warcraft map folder.
