I would like to know what style of spriting do most hackers prefer to use of to make.

please state if:

A. Grainy

B. Plain Color

Of the two examples given, I prefer style A. Although my biggest concern is whether the style is consistent. So if I'm only replacing a few Pokemon sprites, I want it to have a consistent feel with the standard sprites so that it doesn't feel out of place.

yeah you have a point mate. Because some sprites from other gens when devamped are hard to make of grainy style. Example, Blaziken, his body is so slim that grainy style on his torso and limbs are near impossible to make in good appearance. Thanks for answering mate.

do you think it is good to be matched with OW tiles and sprites? I think thats good too,

did anyone saw my custom tiles already? I posted that many months ago, and I think that style could be matched with B.Plain style. What do you think?

I've downloaded it, yes it matches the plain color but, they're too much plain. I prefer grainy sprites.

I prefer style A, simply because it has an element of depth, rather than a solid-color sprite, which looks flat. The reason I've never done any custom spriting is purely because I am rather terrible at any kind of shading, and I wouldn't even attempt it since I knew it'd turn out bad.

Actually,ive already started a hack using those plain colored sprites.but I already abandoned that since Im still lack of knowledge and have no PC.

You should not be bothered by the lack of knowledge, when your confused, you can just "reverse engineer".. Btw amvz, I've emailed you a long time ago.. Did you received it?

I like the grainy sprite more.
The plain sprite didnt match the grainy backsprite.
